Youth Scholarships

WIA offers scholarships for extracurricular and recreation programs to provide financial support for youth and families so all may have the chance to thrive.

Eligibility: 

Scholarship candidate must live or attend school in Big Sky, MT.

*Programs located in Big Sky may be prioritized.

About our process:

Please fill out one application for each child. All scholarships must be submitted through the application portal. WIA’s Program Manager compiles the applications and removes any identifying information. The applications are reviewed by a scholarship committee who determines the scholarship awards based on the financial need of applicants and the availability of funds.

Late applications will not be accepted.

If you are awarded a scholarship, WIA will issue the payment directly to the program for which you applied. Checks are not made out to families.

Timeline:

Scholarships for summer programs will be reviewed the week of April 14th. The deadline for application submissions is April 10th at 6:00 pm. Applicants will be notified about scholarship decisions by April 17th.

How often can you apply?

Camp scholarships are available twice a year for summer and winter camp programs. You may apply for one scholarship per child a season.
