Hope is WIA and Big Sky’s first Community Health Worker (CHW). Her role is unique as Hope is a trusted community member who serves as a link between health and social services. In this position, she assists individuals in learning about available resources, connects them to the appropriate services, and reduces barriers to care. Hope increases community wellbeing by providing short-term psychosocial support, attending outreach events, and working toward health goals with clients. She is a free resource to anyone who lives, works, or learns in the community. Hope is available Monday-Thursday from 8am-6pm. If you contact her outside these hours she will be in touch as soon as she is able on her next business day.
